The State Energy Office is currently undergoing reevaluation of all programming to be included in the 2010-2011 program year beginning July 1, 2010.
The program description listed below if provided for informational purposes on what was offered during the 2009-2010 year.
Energy Hog
The Wyoming Business Council, along with the Alliance to Save Energy, the Ad Council, the U.S. Department of Energy and others have launched a national public service advertising campaign designed to make children and their parents aware of energy efficient behavior. The campaign features a reprehensible new villain—the energy-wasting Energy Hog. The Web site's main attractions are the Energy Hog Training Camp and its five training games, where children can train to become Energy Hog Busters and learn fun and simple ways to use energy more efficiently. But we'll warn you right now: those Energy Hog Buster training games aren't easy! To become an Energy Hog Buster yourself, visit www.energyhog.org.
