Ray is the Regional Director for Southwest Wyoming including the counties of Sweetwater, Lincoln, Uinta and Sublette. He is a native of Southwestern Wyoming and a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. He was the CEO of a wholesale beverage distribution business that served five western Wyoming counties and sold the business in 1990. After that, he entered the insurance and financial industry, working for the Wyoming Financial Group just prior to joining the Business Council. He has served on several boards and commissions including Rock Springs Planning and Zoning, Western Wyoming College Board of Trustees, the Sweetwater County Complex Board of Trustees and the Rock Springs and Green River Chambers of Commerce Board of Directors. He also served in both houses of the state legislature and the Tax Reform 2000 Committee.
