Old Yellowstone District

The Wyoming Business Council is providing the city of Casper a $1.52 million grant to reconstruct a major thoroughfare in its up-and-coming Old Yellowstone District adjacent to downtown.

The project will include building sidewalks, curb and gutter in an area that has never seen those types of public investment. With the relocation of the new state office building in the neighborhood, new restaurants and other related businesses are expected to move in.

This work is expected to improve property values and diversify the city's tax base.
