Association of Wyoming Manufacturers to hold roundtable meeting

CHEYENNE - The Association of Wyoming Manufacturers (AWM) will hold a roundtable meeting from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on March 23 at the Holiday Inn in Casper.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with manufacturers and manufacturing supporters. In addition, AWM president, Bill Britz, will discuss the steps being taken to grow the Association and increase manufacturing advocacy throughout the state.

The itinerary for the meeting also includes a Human Resources presentation by Peter Reis of the Wyoming Business Council entitled, “I Quit, You’re Fired.” The presentation will provide manufacturing professionals with information to improve hiring and retention within their businesses.

AWM membership provides the opportunity for access to the All-Wyoming database; a voice in Workforce Development; networking opportunities; and a quarterly manufacturing newsletter. Membership is available to anyone interested in manufacturing. The Association exists to facilitate ongoing processes for knowledge sharing, alliance building, and advocacy aimed at delivering products and services to enhance the growth and profitability of Wyoming manufacturers.

For more information about the upcoming roundtable, contact Annie Longpre, Wyoming Business Council Marketing & Attraction Specialist, at 307.777.2844.
