Business Council in search of companies for National Organic Tradeshow

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Business Council Agribusiness Division is in search of Wyoming certified organic or OMRI-listed products to participate in the All Things Organic™ Tradeshow to be held April 30-May 3 in Chicago, Ill.

The Wyoming Business Council will take the participants’ product literature and/or samples for display in the Agribusiness Division booth during the tradeshow. There is a $100 fee for each participant. The deadline to submit products/literature and the fee is April 13.

“Wyoming’s organic businesses have a great opportunity right now because America’s organic consumer market produces over $90 million annually and U.S. retail sales are expected to reach $20 billion by 2007,” said John Henn, Wyoming Business Council Senior Agriculture Marketing Specialist. “This show provides Wyoming businesses a forum to take advantage of this huge growth in the organic industry.”

The Organic Trade Association's All Things Organic™ Conference and Trade Show is North America’s only all-organic event, featuring over 400 booths of organic products, education sessions, networking activities and special events. Attendees and exhibitors have the opportunity to discover what is new in the organic industry.

The 2005 tradeshow features keynote speakers Morgan Spurlock, best known for writing, directing and producing the feature film “Super Size Me,” and Nina Rothschild, chair and chief executive officer for “Utne” magazine.

If you are interested in participating in this tradeshow, contact John Henn, Wyoming Business Council Senior Agricultural Marketing Specialist at 307.777.2847.

The mission of the Wyoming Business Council is to facilitate the economic growth of Wyoming. For more information, please visit the Web site at www.wyomingbusiness.org.
