Business Council offers four summer marketing opportunities

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Business Council is offering four marketing opportunities for Wyoming businesses to display and sell their products this summer.

Wyoming businesses may sell their ‘Wyoming Made’ products at Cheyenne Frontier Days in the ‘General Mercantile’ at Wild Horse Gulch. The products for this event are to be Western, Frontier, or Uniquely Wyoming in nature. Cheyenne Frontier Days is July 22-31, 2005.

Businesses also have the opportunity to promote their products at the Wyoming State Fair, August 13-21, 2005. Products will be marketed and sold at the Pavilion on the Wyoming State Fairgrounds in Douglas, Wyoming. After Cheyenne Frontier Days has ended, remaining products will be taken to the State Fair.

In addition to the in-state marketing opportunities, Wyoming businesses may participate in the Denver Merchandise Mart wholesale event. The Wyoming Business Council will reserve a space for ‘Wyoming Products’ at the Denver Merchandise Mart, Gift, Jewelry & Resort Show, August 27 – 30, 2005. This wholesale show draws close to 6,000 buyers from around the country.

The fourth marketing opportunity is the Western and English Sales Association (WESA) trade show. Twice a year, WESA produces a show in Denver featuring Western tack and apparel; English equipment and equestrian event apparel; couture fashion and trendy accessories; jewelry and collectibles; home décor and gifts; work and outdoor gear; animal health and stable equipment; raw leather and leather products and apparel. The upcoming show will be in September.
