Beef cattle listing available online July 1

CHEYENNE – Beginning July 1, Wyoming producers will be able to list the beef cattle they have for sale on the free Wyoming Beef Cattle Listing Web site at www.wyobeef.com.

Categories on the Web site will include feeder calves, yearlings, replacement heifers, bred heifers and cows, bulls, grass-fed, natural and organic. Cattle that are consigned on a video auction or a local auction market sale can be listed on the Web site with the sale date.

The online listing, sponsored by the Wyoming Business Council, will be updated weekly and maintained by Steve Paisley, UW Extension Beef Specialist.

Cattle can be added to the list on the www.wyobeef.com Web site or by contacting Steve Paisley at 307.766.5541 or John Henn, WBC Senior Ag Marketing Specialist, at 307.777.2847 for a signup form.
