Public hearing for the Community Facilities Grant and Loan program is set for July 14

CHEYENNE - The Investment Ready Communities Division of the Wyoming Business Council will hold a statewide public hearing on the Community Facilities Grant and Loan Program proposed rules. The hearing will be held on July 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.

using the Wyoming Video Conference system at the locations listed below:

“We welcome all comments and suggestions on these proposed rules.” said Steve Achter, Director of the Investment Ready Communities Division of the Wyoming Business Council. “Feedback from the public and community leaders is invaluable to this process.”

Oral comments will be taken at the public hearing. Written comments must be submitted to Shannon Stanfill, Community Facilities Program Manager, Wyoming Business Council, 214 W. 15th Street, Cheyenne, WY 82002. Deadline for written comments is no later than 5:00 p.m. July 20, 2005.

The purpose of the Community Facilities Act (W.S. 9-12-801 through W.S. 9-12-804) is to assist communities to enhance existing school facilities and preserve former school and government facilities that have existing or future community uses.
