Wyoming Business Council offers table space at National Western Stock Show
CHEYENNE - The Wyoming Business Council is offering livestock producers in Wyoming a chance to display information about their operations during the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Jan. 7-22.
This year’s Stock Show is the 100th annual and will feature a Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) Rodeo, livestock judging and refers to itself as the “Super Bowl of livestock shows.”
The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) will have a presence at the Livestock Center near the Stockyards. Producers are encouraged to display sale catalogues or informational brochures on their operations at the WBC booth. As there is limited space available, producers are encouraged to be conservative in the type and amount of material involved. Scott Keith, the Hay and Forage Program Manager for the Wyoming Business Council, said this is an opportunity for producers to show off their seedstock at no cost.
“This is an invitation for Wyoming producers to advertise at The Stock Show using our booth,” said Keith. “A lot of producers don’t advertise there because they do not have the time, money or space. Those are the producers we are trying to help out.”
Producers who wish to have their information displayed, but are not going to the NWSS can have their information displayed, by delivering it to either Keith in Casper or Terri Barr in Cheyenne before Jan. 5. Keith is at 300 South Wolcott, Ste. 200 in Casper, while Barr is located at 214 W. 15th Street in Cheyenne.
For more information, contact Scott Keith at 307.237.4696, 307.259.3274. Requests can also be sent to Terri Barr at 307.777.2807.
The mission of the Wyoming Business Council is to facilitate the economic growth of Wyoming. For more information, please visit the Web site at www.wyomingbusiness.org.
