Marshall named new Business Retention & Entrepreneurship Manager
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Business Council named Brandon Marshall as the new Business Retention and Entrepreneurship Manager of the Business & Industry Division effective January 2006.
As the Business Retention and Entrepreneurship Manager, Marshall will coordinate with the six Business Council Regional Directors, assisting them with the administration of programs and actions that provide support to existing businesses and encourages development of new businesses within the state. Marshall will also maintain a working relationship with Wyoming Chambers of Commerce Executives (WCCE), Wyoming Economic Development Association (WEDA) and Wyoming Association of Municipalities (WAM). In addition, Marshall will help coordinate efforts with the Business Council partners at the University of Wyoming.
He is certified as an Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) from the National Development Council. In 2003, Marshall received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming.
Before his promotion to Business Retention and Entrepreneurship Manager, Marshall worked for two years at the Business Council as the Lead Development Senior Specialist in the Business & Industry Division.
