Wyoming Business Council sponsors Wyoming First Conference

CHEYENNE - The Wyoming Business Council will be sponsoring a Wyoming First Conference, April 24th-25th at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel in Casper Wyoming.

The conference will feature seminars on Business Planning, Trade Show Marketing, Business Finance, Food Labeling and Processing, Efficient Manufacturing Practices, and Internet Marketing. The conference is open to all Wyoming First Members for a cost of $75. Those who register before April 3rd will receive a discounted rate of $50. Included in the cost of registration is an opportunity to display your company’s product in the Wyoming First Pavilion at the Wyoming Governors Hospitality and Tourism Conference Trade Show. There will also be a Governor’s Reception from 6-7 p.m. on April 24.

“This is an excellent opportunity to network with other small manufacturers, gather valuable business information and promote your Made in Wyoming products,” stated Ted Craig Value-Added Program Manager for the Wyoming Business Council.

The Wyoming First Program is designed to assist Wyoming companies with the identification and promotion of their Wyoming Made products or substantially enhanced products and services. Interested Wyoming companies can apply to join Wyoming First the day of the event for the $20 yearly fee. Membership allows Wyoming First participants to use the familiar “Bucking Horse and Rider” design stickers and hang tags on their products. The stickers come in your choice of three color combinations. We now have two posters available. The “Proud Manufacturer of Wyoming Products” poster is for use by members to display their products. The “Wyoming Products Proudly Sold Here” poster is for use by members at their facility and for retailers that sell Wyoming made products. Membership in the Wyoming First program also entitles Wyoming companies to feature their products on the Wyoming First Web site at www.wyomingfirst.org.
