Business plan workshop & chance to present to investors will be held on June 14

LARAMIE – Learn how to write a business plan and then present a business plan to investors at two Venture West events being held on June 14 at the Wyoming Territorial Park Historic Horsebarn Theater in Laramie.

The workshop “Entrepreneurial Insights into Writing (and Rewriting) a Winning Plan” will look at the process of writing a business plan, not just once but rewriting it for the many iterations of funding and investment audiences. Learn from two experienced entrepreneurs that are in the process of developing a variety of funding sources for their businesses. The panel members will share their insights into the ups and downs of launching a business as well as answer questions from the audience. The workshop will be held from 2 pm - 5 pm. The cost is $15 for early registrants and $25 after June 9.

The fourth annual Entrepreneurial Pitch will be held from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the same location. This program was designed after the MIT-Forum and allows an entrepreneur access to advice and criticism from experts within the venture capital industry. Each entrepreneur has 5 minutes to give their business plan presentation and then the panel will have the opportunity to critique the presentation and plan. The cost is $35 for early registrants and $45 after June 9.
