Media Advisory: Manufacturing award ceremony to be held on August 9
CHEYENNE– Manufacturing-Works® will recognize exceptional Wyoming manufacturers and individuals who support the industry during a ceremony Wednesday, Aug. 9 in Sheridan.
The ceremony will be held at the Kendrick City Park in Sheridan, starting at 4 p.m. with a reception for the honorees.
The awards ceremony is part of a three-day manufacturing and technology event that runs at the Sheridan Holiday Inn Aug. 8-10. The event includes workshops designed to help businesses with finances, taxes, workforce, sales/marketing, value-added agriculture, and quality/safety issues. At the ceremony, awards will be given to Wyoming companies/individuals in the following categories: Leading Edge; Environmental Stewardship; Entrepreneur; Transformation; Legacy; Friend of Manufacturing in the Public Sector; Friend of Manufacturing in the Private Sector; House of LEAN; Friend of Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP); and Future in the Works.
