Venture West looking for business plans
LARAMIE - Venture West is looking for entrepreneurs who are interested in generating investment interest in their companies to present their business plans at the upcoming quarterly meeting on June 7 in Laramie. Venture West, a business networking club, will select four entrepreneurs to present their prospective, new or ongoing ventures to the club.
“Venture West is the only structured, ongoing opportunity available in Wyoming to help businesses capture venture financing and crucial business support,” said Jon Benson, Venture West Board President. “It is important to note that we are a networking club, not an investment club.”
To be chosen as one of the four presenters, companies must submit an electronic copy of the executive summary (formatted as WORD or .rtf) by 5 p.m. on April 23 to exec-summary@venturewest.org. If chosen to present, a five minute PowerPoint overview of the company and business plan is required. A short question and answer period will follow the presentations.
“This is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to make an important impression on key movers and shakers in the Wyoming entrepreneurial community, including people who actively invest in regional companies,” stated Benson. “Venture West is committed to providing the chance for entrepreneurs to polish their pitch and attract crucial support for their businesses.”
