Each year WTT is charged with setting and achieving goals that compliment the greater strategic plan. In addition to paid media advertising, we also incorporate direct marketing, online marketing, media and public relations, travel trade marketing, fulfillment and the state welcome centers into the overall strategy.
Advertising
The following are components of the 2007 advertising campaign that not only build brand awareness, but also help to increase travelers to our state.
Advertising co-op opportunities through Wyoming Travel & Tourism often include national magazines, regional newspapers and regional radio.
Web
Businesses can take advantage of the tourism web site, www.wyomingtourism.org, by adding/updating their own FREE business listing. These listings show up on the tourism website as visitors view the site for trip planning purposes. Chambers of commerce, convention and visitor bureaus and other destination marketing organizations may add calendar of event listings for their communities, free of charge, as well.

Publications
Businesses also receive a FREE business listing in the Official Travelers Journal. The Traveler’s Journal is used to fulfill all visitor requests and is distributed throughout the state and region. Display ads are available at reasonable rates. To add or update your FREE business listing or add a calendar of event listing, contact Judy Johnson at 307.777.2871.

Research
WTT research extends to demographic and economic data. The Dean Runyan report analyzes the economic significance of the travel industry in Wyoming and the Longwood's report provides demographics and trip characteristic data about Wyoming visitors. To access this research, visit the Travel Industry Resource Center.
Fulfillment
WTT engages in a fulfillment program to provide consumers requesting information with complete vacation planning materials. Materials include the Official Travelers Journal, highway maps and Cultural Guide.
