Wyoming Cultural Guide
The Film, Arts & Entertainment Program of Wyoming Travel & Tourism is once again producing the Wyoming Cultural Guide. This Guide highlights Wyoming’s cultural amenities including statewide museums, historic sites, theatres, galleries, artist studios and cultural events. Individual listings and advertisements are sold to help fund the Guide. We print 100,000 guides that are distributed in-state at Chambers of Commerce, information centers and other tourism related organizations, and out-of-state at regional information centers. The Guides are also mailed with selected Wyoming tourism material requests. We are inviting you or your organization to support the 2008 edition of the Wyoming Cultural
Guide through the purchase of an ad, business listing, or sponsorship. Your participation will help promote cultural outreach throughout the state of Wyoming and raise awareness about your particular entity’s products, services or attractions. If you have any questions or comments about the Wyoming Cultural Guide, please contact Wendi Robirds at (307) 431-0836 or email wendi@visionwest.com.

Qualified expenditures generally include, but are not limited to:
- Wages, salaries, or other compensation for technical and production crews, directors, producers, performers and extras who are residents of this state.
- Expenditures on goods and services in Wyoming for preproduction, production, post-production, digital media effects services, rental equipment, meals, lodging, sets, and set construction.
Rebate percentage between 12% and 15% based on the following criteria:
- Wyoming storyline (full 15% rebate)
- Behind the scenes footage highlighting Wyoming locations (up to 14% rebate)
- Wyoming props and product placement (up to 13% rebate)
- Filmed in Wyoming credit (minimum 12% rebate)
- Other promotional opportunities that provide Wyoming tourism value could be negotiated to determine rebate percentage.
Call for Locations
The Wyoming Film Office is calling for photos of potential filming locations throughout the state. We're updating our film office web site at www.filmwyoming.com with hundreds of new images and we need your help. We're looking for any interesting locations that could be used by a production company for feature films, television specials and commercials. We need to have contact information for each location. For example, if the location is privately owned we need the owners contact information including address, directions, phone number, etc. If the location is on public land, we need to know which agency to contact for permitting, i.e. BLM, Forest Service, State Lands, etc.
Please send ALL location images, prints or digital, to Colin Stricklin at info@filmwyoming.com or mail them to:
