Manufacturing Day

Manufacturers statewide are opening their doors in the coming days to showcase the reality of modern manufacturing as a sleek, technology-driven industry full of high-paid, fulfilling careers.

The open houses are part of the eighth annual MFG Day officially celebrated nationally on Oct. 4. The event has seen U.S. participation grow from about 240 events to more than 2,900 annually.

The event is geared toward inspiring the next generation by showing how they can make a difference through manufacturing and showing them how to take the first step toward starting a career in the industry.

To that end, about 20 Wyoming companies and institutions are participating in the festivities. Follow links of each event for details. Learn more about MFG Day here.
